Plakes area is the oldest part of Skiathos town. Located on the Southeast side of the island. Some of the oldest houses of the previous century can still be found here among the new. 
The characteristic landscape of the rocky beach Plakes is 100 m. away.
Plakes area and the Old Port the last years have become truly vibrant, bustling with energy and life. There's always something happening, whether it's local events, or the diverse array of eateries and bars. It’s this vibrancy that makes our neighborhood a wonderful place to live and visit.
Plakes area is inaccessible to cars and because of the cobbled streets and steps, it might be an issue for guests with special mobility needs. Nevertheless, the property is reachable by bikes.
